(ANSA) - KANO, FEB 10 - Jihadist militants return to strike in Nigeria. In an attack on Sunday evening in the village near Maiduguri, the capital of the northern Islamic state of Borno, at least 30 people were killed. State spokesman AhmadAbdurrahman Bundi said so, adding that "many women and children have been kidnapped". A faction of the Nigerian Islamist group Boko Haram is raging in the area and is now fighting with the flag of the "West African Province of the Islamic State" (Iswap).
