Daspo for a year for a referee who, at the end of a second category championship game, hit one of the players with a header on the face.
This was ordered by the commissioner of Macerata Antonio Pignataro. It happened on February 1st in Mogliano (Macerata) after the Borgo Mogliano-Montottone match, ended 3 to 1. At the exit from the locker rooms the referee hit with a header the goalkeeper of Borgo Mogliano, expelled during the match. It is the first Daspo in Italy against a referee. The footballer was rescued by 118 health workers present on the spot and transported to the hospital of Macerata, where a prognosis of several days was drawn up. Following the investigations carried out by the carabinieri, in charge of the public order service and the consequent information to the Macerata public prosecutor's office, the commissioner Pignataro issued the measure against the referee, a 31-year-old of Neapolitan origin.
