Next fall-winter season (2021) opened this week in New York. The fashion month, which traditionally begins in New York and runs sequentially to London, Milan and Paris, is at the top of the fashion chain. We'll see the trends on the track this year on the big networks next winter, with more commercial and accessible translations.

As every year, New York Fashion Week provided quite a few photogenic moments, on and off the track, in the front row and behind the scenes. But beyond celebs, models and bloggers, we got a real glimpse of some trends that are about to take over our closet, or at least try, next winter.

Victorian jackets

We haven't seen them in a long time. The tailor-made blazers of the moment were in some ways pushed off the tracks after at least two years at the fashionable stage, giving way to the romantic Victorian segment. The long button, the high collar, the cuffed sleeves and the little apple, are not just a trend, but a change of attitude. A sharp transition from the square male blazer in its shape to the most feminine segment in the category.

Ola Johnson, Jason W., Tori Birch, these are just some of the designers leading this direction. For a moment, we thought, with all the Victorian romantic prints and silos we found this year, that this is some point obsession with the movie "Little Women." Could this be a profound and transversal trend, a general satiation of the tailored and masculine direction that the fashion world has turned to in recent years? Early to guess but we will follow anyway.

Loop chains

Butte Vente's influence broke every possible fashionable boundary, and the famous rough necklaces starred on the displays and we look forward to seeing more of them in fashion weeks in other cities this season as well.

The specific style of winter 2020 necklaces will be characterized by oversize dimensions, and all types of metals, and will appear in all accessories categories. In the straps, as bracelets, as chains.

Poncho

The capes make a surprising comeback and come back modern and clean, from the royal version of Carolina Herrera through the sophisticated version of Rag & Bone, to the more traditional version of the Zimmerman ethnic vibe.

We are not expected to see rain of Poncho in my estimation, but do not be surprised if you suddenly feel like refreshing your coat closet next winter with an attractive cape you happened to find in Zara.

Horse girls

Every season there seems to be some representation of the world of horses, ranches and riding, but their season of representation is particularly elegant, not the Western style he has ruled until recently, but the rich farm girl style with sophisticated, high riding boots, literally. Think of Sheila from the movie "Hair." The self-portrait brand took maximum inspiration and wore the track models really like riding hats as a styling element we have seen before, but always nice to see on track models.
