In its announcement, the office exemplifies the major power cut in Berlin-Köpenick last year. The question is how one can still prepare a "nutritious meal" in such times. "Der Spiegel" reports on the "emergency cookbook" in its new edition.
BKK President Christoph Unger spoke of the "ability to help and protect yourself, combined with assuming responsibility for yourself and others", which you want to promote. "In this respect, we not only advise you to store food, but also want to offer practical help to citizens with this cross-organizational project!" The recipes are to be collected in the form of a competition - citizens can submit their ideas.
