"Stranger Things": The fate of an important character has finally been clarified
It was probably the saddest scene in the entire series: At the end of season 3, Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) had to destroy a system that was supposed to open the gate to the other side. Jim Hopper (David Harbor) was killed in the explosion because he could not save himself in time.
You never found a body. So did he survive? The audience asked themselves the question after the grand finale. There were several theories about Hopper's whereabouts, because maybe there was a way to escape the explosion. A final scene of season 3 * also gave hope for his survival: in a Russian prison, the guards spoke of an American inmate .
However, fans no longer have to puzzle because Netflix has finally revealed the secret: Hopper is alive . A YouTube video entitled "Greetings from Moscow" shows a scene with the alleged prison inmates. They work together on a rail network while Russian soldiers monitor them. Towards the end of the clip, one of the prisoners takes off his cap and shows his face - it is actually the hopper believed to be dead .
How exactly he escaped the explosion will only be clarified in the fourth season of "Stranger Things" . It is not yet known when this will appear.
