(ANSA) - TEHERAN, FEBRUARY 15 - Iranian oil production in West Karoun (southwest) has increased fivefold over the past six years, Iranian oil minister Bijan Zanganeh said today, quoted by IRNA.
The Oil Engineering and Development Company has announced that the production capacity of West Karounnel 2019 oil fields has increased to 350,000 compared to 70,000 barrels as of 2013.
"With further investment and technology, West Karoun oil fields have the capacity to produce one million barrels of oil per day," added Zanganeh.
