The milk products of a well-known brand suddenly fly off the shelf at the supermarket chain Real. The manufacturer no longer wants to deliver - and raises allegations.

  • There are currently no Milram products in Real supermarkets.
  • The manufacturer has stopped delivering the products.
  • The reason is a dispute over the delivery prices.

Zeven / Düsseldorf - Anyone who has recently searched for a milk product of the Milram brand in the Real , Familia or K + K supermarkets and has not found anything has to be prepared to stop buying cheese , curd cheese and the like from the brand in the near future to be able to. Real: Well-known dairy products fly off the shelf - manufacturer raises accusations

From now on, all members of the retail trade group "Retail Trade Group" , including Real , will no longer be supplied by the Milram manufacturer, the dairy cooperative Deutsches Milchkontor (DMK). The manufacturer announced last week. The reason: According to a spokesman, the DMK demands “reasonable product prices” to ensure that agriculture can operate sustainably.

In real terms, the current situation is decidedly different. "We reject the accusation that Real practices price dumping at the expense of farmers," said a Real spokesman . According to the supermarket chain, the required price increase is in no way justified. The supermarket chain is convinced that an increase would further disadvantage Real and the other members of the RTG network in terms of price compared to the retail giants Edeka, Rewe, Aldi and Lidl. Instead, Real now wants to include other goods in the range when the Milram manufacturer no longer delivers.

No more Milram products at Real - disputes about prices are not uncommon

Disputes between retail chains and well-known brand manufacturers are currently taking place. For example, Edeka announced at the end of January that it would offer fewer Coca-Cola products. Here too, a price war was the reason.

There have recently been taunts between the discounters Lidl and Aldi. Lidl railed against Aldi, Netto and Penny in an unusual advertisement. But the response from the competition was not long in coming.
