Theater in Paris: JP Nataf has lost his mind!

2020-02-15T13:41:58.754Z

Crazy and absurd, poetic and biblical, here is a prank to be caught. Carried by the voice-over of Philippe Katerine, with JP Nataf

Tonic, comical, atypical ... This is the triptych that could apply to this half-theatrical half-musical show, totally unclassifiable, mischievously baptized "Ah! Félix (not the right title) ”. Yes yes, that is the real title, the good title. You do not understand anything ? Normal. Welcome to a wacky and absurd universe. A poetic and biblical farce full of freshness, carried by the voice-over of Philippe Katerine which sets the tone well, necessarily offbeat.

The story? It all starts with a legend, that of the monk Félix - interpreted by JP Nataf, the singer of the Innocents - who left to seek in Alexandria in the year 800 the head of Saint John the Baptist. Simple legend? "Did Félix only exist?" Asks Sonia Bester, who signs the text and the staging. But then Félix, overcome with remorse, reappears today to recover the relic and bring it back…

He first meets a kind of guru convinced that he can save France thanks to the head of Jean-Baptiste. Thereupon arises a teacher of hysterical border catechism. Add two bards that constantly sing and make the characters sing, revisiting all styles, from Richard Strauss to the Beach Boys, and you will have a vague idea of what awaits you. Be careful, it can be disarming ... Judging by the laughter in the room, the public gets carried away. Good delirium never hurts!
