The postal police of Catania reported two girls, aged 14 and 11, who were violently attacking two of their peers when they left the secondary school they attend, in a state of freedom for personal injuries and aggravated threats to the local Prosecutor's Office for minors. One of them resumed the violence with a smartphone and spread the video on social networks.
The victims, who were treated in hospital, were also threatened with retaliation in the event of complaints: "... if you report me, you will leave Catania ...", is the text of a message sent to them. The investigations were initiated after a report from the school management and the postal police were activated. The quarrel would have arisen for trivial reasons.
The prosecutor for minors ordered the hearing of the four girls, the seizure of mobile devices and the removal of the video. The 14-year-old and the 11-year-old were reported by the postal police, but the youngest girl is not criminally attributable for her age.
