The Superior council of audio-visual imposed a fine of 10 000 euros on the channel C8 for the diffusion of naked photos of Karine Ferri in the emission “Touche pas à mon poste”, according to an information of the Letter A confirmed with l 'AFP by the CSA.
The host and her employer TF1 had seized the CSA at the end of 2018 to protest against the distribution of these "private, youth photos", which were the subject of a distribution ban after the conviction of the magazines which had published them - Interview and Playboy.
TF1 had denounced in a statement "a systematic campaign of denigration" and "moral harassment" against Karine Ferri, one of the incarnations of "Dance with the stars".
"Violation of the right to image"
Karine Ferri had also sent a letter of formal notice to C8, the production company of TPMP and Cyril Hanouna for the exploitation of these photos and had requested financial compensation of one million euros before the High Court of Nanterre for "violation of image rights".
In April, Karine Ferri had obtained 12,000 euros in court, damages for moral injury.
The CSA has already condemned C8 several times for controversial sequences in Cyril Hanouna's broadcasts, sanctioning in particular in 2017 a hoax deemed homophobic with a fine of 3 million euros.

Another sanction, a week's advertising deprivation for the program "Touche pas à mon poste", had been canceled by the Council of State, forcing the CSA to compensate C8 up to 1.1 million euros .
