The device, intended for those furthest from employment, has been in existence for twenty years, and, proof that the government believes in its future, its budget has been revised upwards. For the year 2020, integration through economic activity (IAE) benefits from 1 billion euros of public funds, against 900 million euros in 2019. The envelope should amount to 1.3 billion in 2022. Enough to finance 20,000 additional jobs each year and reach 240,000 workers in integration in 2022, announced the Ministry of Labor last September. What also breathe new life into the sector which has somewhat stalled.
According to the latest figures published by Dares, the statistics department of Rue de Grenelle, 132,300 employees were on the job in 2018 in one of the 3,803 companies and associations approved by the State.
