"I have still completed my studies," says Christoph Heuermann. "Immediately a week later I registered in Germany and went on a trip," Christoph Heuermann told Focus Online. That was in 2015 - the 29-year-old has been on the move ever since. He travels all over the world, he doesn't want to return to Germany. At least not permanently.

But " I have always found taxes to be negative; I associate them with coercion and violence, " explains Heuermann. That is why he has registered his residence in Panama .

After all, he doesn't have to pay taxes there - and "I have a lifelong residence permit there," he says. This is because the country has territorial taxation. Specifically, this means that he does not have to tax income that he has generated elsewhere. This is how he earns his money in different countries.

At the same time, his unconventional lifestyle allows him to pursue his passion - next year Heuermann will have traveled to all 190 countries in the world . He is currently in Papua New Guinea, after which he wants to go to Palau, an island nation in the Pacific Ocean. Heuermann reports to Focus Online that in this way he earns around 50,000 euros net per month! In this country, Heuermann would therefore have to pay the top tax rate of 45 percent.

The studied political scientist supposedly takes the money largely on his own blog "stateless" . He then explains to others how to avoid taxes. In addition, he gives counseling sessions that last between one and two hours and cost almost 1,000 euros each.
