The video of a 9-year-old Australian child suffering from dwarfism, upset by the school harassment he suffered, moved thousands of Internet users this Thursday evening, becoming one of the most discussed topics on the Twitter platform.
"Give me a knife, I want to kill myself [...]. I want someone to kill me, "implores the crying boy in this video posted on Facebook by his mother on Tuesday in Brisbane, and notably relayed since by the online media Loopsider.

As the young Quaden sobs, his mother, behind the camera, speaks. “I want people to know, parents, educators, teachers, that these are the effects of harassment […]. So please, can you educate your children, family and friends? Because it only takes one case and you will wonder why the children commit suicide, ”she asserts.
Hugh Jackman declares him to be "his friend"
The little boy received a wave of support born on social networks under the watchword #WeStandWithQuadel, "We are with Quadel", in French. In Australia, the famous actor Hugh Jackman (X-Men, Le Prestige, Prisoners ...) declared him to be his "friend", while the National Rugby League (NRL) dedicated a video to him, inviting him to a match Saturday night.

The American actor Brad Williams, himself suffering from dwarfism due to a bone disease, for his part launched an online kitty to "offer a wonderful boy a stay at Disneyland". The latter had collected nearly 30,000 euros less than 24 hours later.

Last year, the case of a young girl had put the question of persecution at school at the center of debates in France. Taken to task in her establishment in Herblay (Val-d'Oise), Evaëlle, 11, had committed suicide while hanging herself in bed. Her parents had just filed a school harassment complaint.
