Are you planning a delicious meal for yourself and your loved ones and want to score with an appetizer? You don't need much at all - two ingredients are enough.

  • Starters are a great start.
  • But they are also very popular as appetizers at parties.
  • You don't have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen for starters.

Are you planning a dinner party or just want to do something good for yourself? Then a meal with starter, main course and dessert is perfect - but, unfortunately, also involves a lot of work and time in the kitchen.

At least with the starters, you can save a lot of time and money. There are a lot of recipes that only need two ingredients and can be conjured up quickly. We have put together a few for you.

Melon and feta brochettes

The combination of sweet and salty tastes wonderful and you can put them on your plate with just a few ingredients. Cut watermelon or honeydew melon into cubes and place them alternately with feta cubes on small wooden skewers - also works as a watermelon feta salad *. This is something different from the well-known tomato and mozzarella skewers, which of course are also delicious.

Ham and mozzarella skewers

Another variation of the classic tomato with mozzarella is the combination with ham. Roll or fold the raw ham and alternately stick it on mini skewers with mini mozzarella balls or mozzarella cubes. Dip each skewer once in olive oil and once in balsamic vinegar and the simple snack is ready.

Simple, quick and super tasty - this potato gratin works without cream

Parmesan cheese with honey

It sounds a bit hard to get used to, but it works somewhat like the melon-feta combination and tastes wonderful: Offer Parmesan cheese with honey . Slice the parmesan into thicker slices and arrange it on a flat plate. Then drizzle honey over it and a little black pepper to taste. If you want to do even less work, simply drizzle the honey over the Parmesan block and add a knife to cut it yourself.

Surf and turf with a difference

"Surf and Turf" is actually a dish made from steak and lobster or shrimp tails. If you break it down to meat and seafood, you can also make small skewers of chorizo and shrimp . Cook them in the oven at 200 degrees for eight to ten minutes, depending on the size of the shrimp, and you're done with the delicious starter.

Sausages in a dressing gown

They are a classic for children's birthday parties, but they also taste very good for adults: sausages in a dressing gown. To do this, wrap small cocktail wieners in dough and bake them at 180 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes. For the dough, you can simply use ready-made puff pastry or pizza or bread roll dough.

Parmesan Crisps

This simple starter even comes with just one ingredient: parmesan. Grate the cheese and put a tablespoon each as a small heap on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Pay attention to the distance, the parmesan naturally dissolves. Bake the whole thing in the oven at around 230 degrees, but be sure to keep a close eye on the chips. They turn golden brown after only five minutes. If you want a little more variety , you can use parmesan before baking with garlic, herbs or bacon cubes .

Baked honey bacon

Don't get enough bacon or bacon? Then loosely spit it on wooden sticks and brush it with a little honey or maple syrup . Then place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 210 degrees for about 20 minutes. After half of the time you have to turn the skewers once.
