Fi-Lega-Fdi-Mixed, serious abuse yesterday commission on PDL Costa (ANSA)

The opposition writes to the President of the Chamber of Deputies Roberto Fico to ask to cancel yesterday's vote in the Justice Committee in the Chamber on the prescription and have it repeated. A letter, as far as we learn, signed by the group leaders of Fi, Lega, Fdi, by Lupi (Mixed) and by the group leaders of Fi, Lega and Fdi in committee, reports a "serious abuse": he was prevented from voting on the law the deputy Colucci (Mixed) of the forced laborer Costa. His vote would have been "final" because, they remember, the Iv voted with the opposition .

The four-page letter is signed by the group leaders Maria Stella Gelmini (Fi), Riccardo Molinari (Lega), Francesco Lollobrigida (Fdi), the deputy group leader of the Mixed Maurizio Lupi and the group leaders in commission Enrico Costa (FI), Roberto Turri (Lega) and Maria Carolina Varchi (FdI). "The deputy of the Misto Colucci group - they write - has been deprived of the opportunity to take part in the vote on the basis of a non-existent motivation and completely without documentary bases" since Colucci had been delegated by his group to vote in place of a another deputy in the examination of the Costa law proposal on prescription. The opposition group leaders contest the choice of the commission president Francesca Businarolo (M5s) not to let Colucci vote and remember that thanks to that choice too, an M5s amendment has passed to suppress the Costa law.

"Colucci's vote would have been decisive for the outcome of the vote - which was also attended by the president of the commission - which, as is well known, concerned a particularly delicate and highly debated topic also within the majority forces that support the executive (just note the fact that three members of the majority group voted with the opposition) ", continues the letter. "Precisely because of the decisive weight that the vote would have deployed" the vote "is flawed" and nothing: "The obligation to repeat the vote derives from this, given the obvious defect in the lack of a structural quorum". Hence the request to Fico to "ensure compliance with the regulation and the prerogatives of individual Members": "Carefully evaluate the serious episode, also considering the opportunity to convene the junta for the regulation on the point, and to take the appropriate measures in order to fully protect the guarantees and rights granted to Members. Furthermore - they conclude - we ask you to order the repetition of the votes made during the session of the Justice Commission on 19 February ". (HANDLE).
