Nowadays, finding love through social networks or dating applications is nothing strange, and celebrities are no exception.

At present, finding love through social networks or dating applications is nothing strange, as more and more services of this type appear on the internet, and some celebrities have created their own profile.

There is even a dating application known as "Raya" that is exclusive to personalities such as athletes, models, movie stars, fashion designers and even technology executives, who can only interact in that app through an invitation.

Created in 2015, "Raya" evaluates, through an algorithm, the members who want to join. In addition, a committee helps to consider whether the candidate meets the requirements to obtain access. According to The New York Times , only about 8% of applicants are accepted.

On some occasion Demi Lovato revealed that he was encouraged to use the app because Amy Schumer , who succeeded in a previous relationship, recommended entering. "I went to some appointments. They were good. Now I am a good friend of some people I met there," he said.

However, "Raya" is not the only application in which celebrities have created a profile, since there have been other cases on platforms such as Tinder, Meetic, Badoo and Bumble, among others.

One of them is Khloé Kardashian , who four years ago said in his personal blog that he had an account open on OkCupid, in which he confessed that he was having a great time.

"I've never made online appointments before, but just for fun, Malika (Haqq) and I decided to subscribe," Kardashian wrote. "Actually, it was a lot of fun."

Another famous person who decided to venture into dating apps is Zac Efron , who said in 2016 that he had a profile in Tinder, but that he didn't have much luck because people didn't think it was him.

One more case is that of actress Sharon Stone , who surprised when she tried to join Bumble, and ended up being blocked from the dating application.

"I went to the dating app @bumble and they closed my account. Some users reported that it could not be me. Hello @bumble, being me is exclusive? Don't exclude me," the movie star wrote on Twitter.

Alongside the post , Sharon posted a screenshot of his Bumble notice as evidence, which said, "Your account has been blocked because we have received several reports that your profile is false."

The truth is that these are just some examples of celebrities who have sought love through dating applications, demonstrating that celebrities are no stranger to this method of finding a partner.
