Three television channels were fighting to welcome the debate between the candidates for mayor of Paris. It is finally on the LCI continuous news channel that will be broadcast a first debate opposing seven candidates for municipal elections in the capital, we learned on Friday.
The "Great Confrontation: the time of choice, Paris" will be held Wednesday March 4, from 8.45pm to 11.30pm. David Pujadas will be in charge of the exclusive program, live and in public, divided into two parts. The first will let the candidates present their project to the presenter, until 9:30 p.m., and the second will leave room for debate.

Four subjects will be in the spotlight during the debate part: security, cleanliness, the environment and mobility, and housing.
Will Agnes Buzyn be present?
Six candidates have already responded: Anne Hidalgo (PS), Rachida Dati (LR), Cédric Villani (dissident from LREM), David Belliard (EELV), as well as Danielle Simonnet (LFI) and Serge Federbusch (RN). An unknown factor remains: the presence of Agnès Buzyn, just nominated candidate after the resignation of Benjamin Griveaux.
"This point has not yet been discussed with her," officially tempered the entourage of the new candidate for LREM three days ago. "She assured us that she was ready," added one of the potential organizers.
This debate will be organized in partnership with RTL radio and the newspaper 20 Minutes. A second debate should take place on BFM, between the two rounds.
