Just six hours after his arrest, Judge Oldemar Villa released the two suspects of raping a woman and killing his 4-year-old son in Puerto Deseado.

The Santa Cruz Police had found blood stains on their shoes and clothing, in a raid on Friday in the neighborhood known as "La Favela".

However, according to the portal La Opinion Austral, both the magistrate and the prosecutor Horacio Quinteros considered that the evidence was not enough to prolong the apprehension beyond the legal deadline established to identify them and establish the domicile of the suspects. After that period, both were able to withdraw from the police station.

The men will have to go to a round of recognition ordered by the judge, which as it transpired, did not provide any other evidence, such as conducting skills on the shoes and clothing to determine if the spots are of human blood or animal.

The attacked woman had given details about the men who attacked her: the two were wearing a hooded diver. One wore jeans and the other jogging. The one who held his little son after he was murdered did not exceed 20 years, and his accomplice was between 25 and 30.

With that information, different procedures were initiated. One of them, at the Caleta Olivia bus terminal, resulted in the arrest of a man who was later released. In La Favela, several people were delayed, but only two were arrested until they were identified.

The search for the two attackers continues, also based on identikits made from the description of the victim, who had stated that the one who abused her had "like acne" marks on her face.
