The latter patient is one of six Britons, including a child, contaminated by a compatriot returning from Singapore whom they had encountered in a chalet in Contamines-Montjoie (Haute-Savoie) at the end of January.
"Tonight, there are no more patients hospitalized in France, the last hospitalized in Lyon is cured, it is no longer contagious and was able to return," said the minister during a daily press conference.
"There is no patient identified this evening on the national territory" and "there is no circulation of the virus this evening on the national territory", he continued, adding that the authorities' strategy to prevent the spread of the virus was "adaptable and revisable at any time".
One death, 11 healings
So far, twelve cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been identified in France since the end of January. This resulted in one death, that of an 80-year-old Chinese tourist who died on February 14, and 11 healings.
