"In this courtroom among magistrates, defendants and lawyers we are often dozens of people, an environmental situation that contrasts with the circular of the Court of Appeal of Milan " on the coronavirus emergency. So the assistant prosecutor Tiziana Siciliano asked and obtained from the judges of the seventh penalty the postponement of the Milanese 'Ruby ter' trial against Silvio Berlusconi and 28 other defendants.

The prosecutor, in fact, reminded the judges that the directives of the Presidency of the Court of Appeal require a minimum distance of two meters between people in the courtroom and that "3/4 people enter the courtroom at a time". The public prosecutor's office, among other things, had already informed the defenders yesterday, so much so that only three lawyers and 7/8 people were present in the courtroom this morning. The president of the college Marco Tremolada initially explained that "public services must continue, except for workers coming" from the 'red areas'. Then, however, he decided to postpone until March 9 also for the absence of witnesses. In the meantime, many proceedings are postponed to the Court in Milan this morning.
