Women born in winter were less likely to suffer from cardiovascular diseases
US and Austrian researchers concluded that people born in spring and summer are at higher risk for heart disease than those born in fall or winter. The scientists around Yin Zhang published their results in the journal bmj.
The analysis is based on data from 116,911 nurses in the United States who were between 30 and 55 years old at the start of a long-term study in 1976. Up until 2014, the test subjects filled out questionnaires every two years, which asked about heart health, among other things. When evaluating the data, the researchers noticed that there was a connection between the month of birth and the risk of death from cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack , as reported by the portal Heilpraxisnet.

Women who were born from March to July would have a higher risk of dying from heart disease than those who were born in November or December. According to the evaluation, the worst hit was born in April : they had the highest mortality rate for cardiovascular diseases. Women born in December were the least likely to die of heart disease.
