Around 71% of the Earth is underwater, hidden from our eyes. There are the animals, vegetables, mountain ranges and boats that make up the images of Underwater Photographer of the Year, a contest in which photographers specialized in capturing underwater snapshots participate.
On February 23, the winners have been announced, chosen from more than 5,500 images submitted to this contest organized by several British photographers since 2015. These are the winning and finalist photographs of the main categories. There is another competition similar to the one we dedicated an article in 2018, the Underwater Photo Contest awards, organized by the American magazine Scuba Diving Magazine .
