(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 27 - Roman Polanski will not attend the Cesar awards ceremony scheduled for Friday in Paris, after the decision of a group of feminists to demonstrate against the 12 nominations for his film "J'accuse". This was announced by the Franco-Polish director at France Presse.
"It is with regret that I take this decision - he states in the declaration -, that of not facing a self-proclaimed court of opinion, ready to trample on the principles of the law so that the irrational triumphs again without discussion". (HANDLE).
