Champagne, Milan course on the art of saber

ROME - All ready in Milan, Coronavirus allowing, for a new appointment dedicated to the art of saber Champagne (Sabrage), after the initial one of 2020. The Sabrage technique comes from the Napoleonic era, when the saber, the weapon of the light cavalry of Napoleon Bonaparte, it was used to uncork the bottles and celebrate a successfully concluded battle. The training meeting, held by the Sabrage Academy, is scheduled for March 13 at the Testina restaurant. The course, scheduled to begin at 19.30, includes a theoretical part of about 45 minutes and a practical part in which each participant can practice under the supervision of the journalist and writer Francesca Negri. During the training lesson it will be possible to discover stories and anecdotes related to both the Sabrage and the world of bubbles.

The sabreur diplomas, the Sabrage kit (containing a Sabrage Academy professional saber), a pair of gloves for the Sabrage and a bottle of Champagne will be delivered.
