Last Monday, Sharia Washington was present at the emotional tribute that was paid to Kobe Byrant at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and now, the sister of the late basketball player shows the world the tattoo that was made in honor of the star of the NBA and his niece, Gianna Bryant .
Through Instagram, Washington shared a photo of the ink design that he now wears on his skin. The tattoo has the numbers that Kobe and Gigi used in their jerseys — 2 and 24 — surrounded by a snake in the shape of the infinity symbol.
The reptile is a reference to Bryant's famous nickname, "Black Mamba", and the design is similar to the one Kobe once wore on a shirt of his (below you can see the photo of the garment).

In her post , Sharia thanked the artist who tattooed her, Peter Barrios , and added the emojis of a snake and hearts.
For his part, Barrios resumed the image in his social profile, and explained that he did not take his own photo out of respect, but said he had the honor of making this piece.
"Thank you for laughing with me today and letting me do this for you," Peter told Sharia, adding, "I will never forget our conversations. Much love and respect for your family."
It was last January 26 when Kobe Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gigi, 13, lost their lives in a plane crash. In the fatal helicopter crash, seven other people died (John, Keri and Alyssa Altobelli, Christina Mauser, Sarah and Payton Chester, and the pilot Ara Zonayan).
The day after the tragedy, without saying anything, Sharia posted on her social profile a nostalgic photo in which Kobe comes out hugging her and her other sister, Shaya Tabb .

It was finally on January 31, when Washington broke the silence and shared a moving message with its followers on Instagram. "On behalf of our family, we joined Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka and Capri to mourn the loss of Kobe and Gianna in a tragic accident," read the beginning of the letter, in which the first thing was to mention the widow and daughters of the former Lakers player.
"We are devastated by the loss of our brother, son, our niece and granddaughter, and our hearts are with all the families that lost their loved ones on Sunday. Our lives have changed forever," Sharia and Shaya said in the post that both signed.
Immediately, Kobe's sisters expressed their gratitude, since since the death of Kobe and Gigi was heard, fans and family friends overflowed in signs of support and messages of love. "Thank you for your prayers, the numerous calls, text messages, emails and cards," they added in the publication, and invited to support the affected families and continue to honor the legacy of Bryant and her baby, through the Foundation of the athlete.
