The vote of the Council for Immunities of Palazzo Madama on the authorization to proceed against Matteo Salvini for the Open arms case has been postponed. The President of the Senate, Elisabetta Casellati, communicated this to the Chamber at the end of the meeting of the Board for the regulation. The final vote of the Executive was scheduled for today at 4pm.
The postponement, to date still to be defined, is linked to the absence of the Northern League senator Luigi Augussori, in 'voluntary quarantine' for the coronavirus.
The new meeting of the Junta could be held in about ten days.
