(ANSA) - TOKYO, MARCH 2 - The final group of the crew that was still on board the Diamond Princess, including the Italian commander Gennaro Arma, completed the disembarkation procedures from the ship on Sunday. The Japanese authorities reported this, explaining that the crew members had started to be released on Thursday and the last 130 people went down yesterday.
During the period in which the ship was moored in Yokohama, from 5 February, 705 of the slightly more than 3,700 passengers and crew members were positive and transferred to the special facilities. The Japanese Minister of Health KatsunobuKato, in thanking the commander Arma, said that the naves will be disinfected and will remain anchored in Yokohama for a period of maintenance.
