(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 5 - A cardiopathic patient, tested positive for coronavirus, died at the San Giovanni hospital in Rome. The San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital communicates this. "Given the complex clinical picture, it is possible to affirm that the woman died 'with' the COVID-19 and not because of the same", explains the hospital. The San Giovanni Addolorata hospital states that "the first test carried out at the Spallanzani Institute was positive and pending confirmation by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS)". As a second protocol "the contacts within the hospital have been identified, all asymptomatic, and the ASL Roma 1 verification is underway on visits and external contacts for the completion of the epidemiological investigation".
