(ANSA) - VENICE, MARCH 7 - The norm proposed by the governor Luca Zaia yesterday was allowed by the government, which allows doctors in surveillance, but not positive at Covid-19, to return to work. The Veneto Region announced this, illustrating the provisions of article 11 of the new decree. It explains that the isolation law "does not apply to health workers and those of essential public services that are subject to surveillance", adding that these "suspend the 'activity in the case of respiratory symptomatology or positive outcome at Covid-19 ". The new formulation will allow almost 700 operators to return to hospitals in Veneto alone, blocked at home by the previous regulation (Decree of 23 February) on trust isolation. It was Zaia who had launched the alarm to the government, asking for the modification of the national provision, since this imposed the quarantine on the health workers "in perfect health", but only because they came in some way in contact with coronavirus positive patients.
