To this, we must add the M6 ​​channel with its 3.88 million and C8, with its approximately 750,000 people since Cyril Hanouna had also chosen to relay the speech in his daily talk show "Touche pas à mon poste".

Not the best performance

This overall score is far, far ahead of the other audiences for Emmanuel Macron's solemn interventions. The President of the Republic had registered 10.23 million people during his last vows, or 13.4 during the Notre-Dame fire. But beware, in a very cynical way, this is not the best performance of Emmanuel Macron, since during the Yellow Vests crisis, 23 million French people had followed his intervention.
