2020-03-15T13:04:27.689Z

After the announcements of Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, Saturday evening, here is the list of establishments closed on French territory.

Bars closed, but tobacco stores open… Restaurants closed but deliveries of small dishes allowed. Following the announcements of Prime Minister Edouard Philippe relating to stage 3 of the epidemic of Coronavirus and relating to “the closure of all places receiving non-essential public”, the decree of March 14, 2020 specifies the establishments concerned or not by the closures.

. Restaurants closed except takeaway delivery. One of the most striking measures concerns the some 175,000 restaurants and 40,000 bars spread across France and closed since this Sunday morning. This measure also affects restaurants and hotel bars, with the exception of "room service", that is, meals served in the room. Companies like Uber Eats or Deliveroo specializing in home meal delivery services will be able to continue operating like those that do take-out.

. Culture and sport at a standstill. Audition, conference, meeting, show or multiple use rooms, dance halls, discos and game rooms, libraries, documentation centers; exhibition halls, indoor sports facilities and museums have had to close. On the other hand the ski resorts must close at the latest this Sunday evening.

. Commerce draws the curtain. Shopping centers will not reopen on Monday. The new closure measures target the majority of stores and boutiques, including clothing stores, the sale of cultural products, DIY ...

. Except ... stores selling food products (from small grocery stores to supermarkets), pharmacies, banks, tobacconists / press offices and service stations that can continue to welcome their customers.

. Schools closed. As of Thursday evening, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron had announced the closure of nurseries, schools, colleges, high schools and universities, "until further notice". Only 4,400 micro-crèches are authorized to continue their activity within the limit of ten children, as well as the nursery assistants, who will be able to accommodate a maximum of six children.
