The famous Cameroonian saxophonist and jazz legend, Manu Dibango, died of the coronavirus at the age of 86: Thierry Durepaire, director of the musical editions of the artist, made it known.
The author of one of the greatest hits of music globally - 'Soul Makossa' of 1972 - is the first world celebrity to die of the virus. Dibango, said Durepaire, "died early in the morning in a hospital in the Paris region."
