Pôle Emploi, which closed its doors to the public on Tuesday, is now forced to manage all of its activities remotely. As at the end of each month, the 5.67 million subscribers (at the end of February) in categories A, B and C in whole France (DOM included) will therefore be required to update themselves with their advisor through their personal page online on the pole-emploi.fr site or by phone at 3949. “ This morning we sent messages and letters to job seekers to tell them that it is absolutely necessary to keep updating and that it is not possible to go to an agency, ”confirms to Le Figaro the general management of Pôle Emploi.

As it stands, the vast majority of job seekers already carry out their online updating procedures. But nearly 178,000 registrants still continue to go to an agency every month to get help from an advisor. The reason? Some job seekers do not have a computer or connection
