(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 25 - The DeutscheGrammophon record label launches the World Piano Day for March 28, an international virtual festival with its pianists.
The list of stars already confirmed includes Maria João Pires, Rudolf Buchbinder, Evgeny Kissin, Víkingur Ólafsson, JanLisiecki, Joep Beving, Simon Ghraichy, Kit Armstrong and DaniilTrifonov. Other artists are also expected to join the initiative promoted by Deutsche Grammophon which underlines the ability of music to bring people together.
You can see and listen to some of the best pianists in the world through the YouTube and Facebook channels using the hashtags #StayAtHome and #WorldPianoDay.
The program will be broadcast live live at 3pm on March 28th and will be available online for a limited period of time.
Each performance will last between 20 and 30 minutes and will be pre-recorded live by the artists in their homes on high definition smartphones. (HANDLE).
