Usually, each Loto or Euro Million winner has 60 days from the draw to present their game receipt and collect their jackpot, from a few euros to tens of millions of euros. After this time, he can say goodbye to his nest egg. But it was difficult during this period of confinement due to the Covid-19 epidemic to travel to a point of sale or a payment center to claim its due.
So the French Games (FDJ) decided to extend the validity dates of its draw games (Loto, Euro Millions, Keno ...) as of its sports bets, allowing players to pocket their small or big jackpot at the 'after the containment period.
Concretely, the deadline for payment of earnings recorded between January 17 and "the date of announcement of confinement", that is to say March 16, has been extended by 90 days, or 150 days (almost 5 months) to get known and collect the money. The deadline for payment of winnings won during the confinement period, that is to say since March 16, has been extended by 60 days, or 120 days (almost 4 months) to get out of the woods. For players benefiting from a subscription, these deadlines are, according to the FDJ, "applicable at the end of the subscription period".
