Google has put the "Insegna da casa" platform online, a portal in Italian (and in several other languages) for teachers, with information, suggestions and training on the tools of the Google for Education package. The distance learning project is part of the measures put in place by the Californian company to respond to coronavirus, and was born with the support and collaboration of the Institute for Information Technologies in UNESCO education.
The site offers an overview of how to approach distance learning, from taking lessons online to making lessons accessible to students and collaborating with other teachers. Several tutorials are present, for example to start a question and answer session with the class using Google Presentations, broadcast a lesson in live streaming and assign assignments with Classroom, and still create a website for the class or develop a quiz online.
