The Venezuelan president was indicted in the US on drug trafficking charges after an investigation by federal authorities in Washington, New York and Florida. The NYT writes that charges should also be announced against a dozen other people, including government and intelligence leaders and members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC), who have long funded their activities with cocaine trafficking.
