An Israeli company has developed a unique and first-of-its-kind system in the world that helps treat corona patients.
"Biobitt" has developed a remote medical monitoring system. It is a unique invention that enables the monitoring of corona patients without hospitalization, thereby reducing contact between them and medical staff.

A special LED-based sensor allows reading data such as breathing rate, blood oxygen percentage, pulse, continuous blood pressure, HRV, pulse volume, heart output, body temperature, SVR, and patient movement. The data is transmitted via Bluetooth to a secure cloud computer, and from there transmitted to all relevant media: cell phones, tablets, computers or TV screens.
The input is made using a sticker affixed to the chest, and continuously monitors 19 advanced physiologic measures. The company operates with FDA approval that allows it to continuously measure blood pressure without the need for a weighting sleeve.
Beyond monitoring itself, the system allows advanced analysis of the physiological effect of the virus on the human, as well as the assessment of the treatment efficacy provided to patients.
These days, Biobit has deployed advanced monitoring systems across all corona virus isolation units. There are 15 medical centers in Israel, including Ichilov Hospital, Tel Hashomer, Rambam, Shaare Zedek and more.
The company is owned by three founders: Eric Ben Yishai - CEO of the company, John May - VP of Technologies, and Israel Serousi - VP of Research and Development.
