Columbia University calls for help foresighted film actors (ANSA)

A Matt Damon, who seems to have just fallen out of bed, and an unpublished Kate Winslet, almost without make-up, have lent themselves to giving their faces via skype for a video message on how to behave in the days of Coronavirus. Laurence Fishburne and Jennifer Ehle, real tutorials, were also asked by those same scientists from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health who had been consultants to Steven Soderbergh's 'Contagion' in 2011. A disaster movie not surprisingly now among the most clicked, on streaming platforms around the world, for its impressive foresight. So when a few days ago, those Columbia University scientists and virologists turned to the director and the cast for help no one had anything to say. To Matt Damon, who in the film plays a man apparently immune to the virus, the most difficult task, that is to introduce the videos of colleagues and emphasize the importance of social distance. Kate Winslet, who in Contagion was an epidemiologist in the spasmodic search for patient zero, not only explains how important it is to wash her hands, but she shows him in detail from her home bathroom, underlining at some point that "today our life also depends from this".
