(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 31 - Within the framework of the International Extraordinary Fund launched to deal with the Covid-19 emergency, Generali has made a contribution to Civil Protection for the supply of around 20 million professional masks to support the operators involved in the emergency Covid-19. The first supply will arrive in two weeks, the second within three weeks.
The group, underlines a note, makes 14 million euros available through the Fund set up by Generali on 13 March, which "allows to cope with the lack of an indispensable tool for the protection of healthcare workers from all Italian regions and shows how useful and important it is the ongoing dialogue between the state and all the companies engaged in this period to face the pandemic emergency in various forms ". Generali, active in 50 countries around the world, has mobilized its global network to support Civil Protection in the search for suppliers of medical material needed to face the emergency. Contacts have already been established with various suppliers, particularly in China.
