What's in common with a second deer and Nicole Reznikov? The truth is, not a lot, except for a campaign that both take part in feeding street cats during the Corona era.

It turns out that closing the restaurants is endangering the existence of street cats, and quite a few celebrities are calling on the masses to rescue them. "Cats can't feed themselves if we don't feed them, they die," says author and playwright Miri Hanoch, who also recruited her husband, a second deer, into the campaign.

As you know, in the wake of the Corona crisis, hotels, restaurants, cafes and hundreds of other businesses closed, which were almost exclusively a source of food for the hungry street cats. At the same time, tens of thousands of Israelis are in solitary confinement, including hundreds of community cat feeders, who, as a matter of course, provide food for their furry friends, but are now denied the opportunity to leave the house and feed the cats.

A new social initiative implemented in recent days is trying to reduce this phenomenon, with special food deliveries for those cats that are left hungry. The person behind this move is the cat food brand "Wisconsin." "As a company that carved a huge love and helped our animal friend, as we became aware of the great plight of community cats left without food as a result of the spread of the corona virus, we could not remain indifferent and look away," explains Remy Miltin, the owner and CEO of the Miltin Group.

Other recruits include other celebs, including Michal Amdorsky and actor Niv Mejer ("On the Spectrum"). "The act we do is very moral and compassionate," explains Nir Greenberg, an animal activist. "Everyone needs to understand that. They have to worry about them, too, at this time."
