(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APRIL 3 - With 1,169 victims in the last 24 hours, the United States now has the sad record of the greatest number of victims in a day since the start of the pandemic, surpassing the Italian record of 969 deaths on March 27. The US currently has 243,453 positive cases, more than doubling Italy, and nearly 6,000 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
