Summary :

We are at the beginning of January, in China, in the province of Huabei. Wuhan is facing a strange epidemic of pneumonia. Hospitals in the city receive an abnormal influx of patients, victims of fevers, dry coughs and breathing difficulties.

Chinese scientists quickly identified the origin of this unknown evil. It is a new virus belonging to the coronavirus family, similar to SARS which struck the country in 2003. On February 11, the WHO gave it a name: "SARS-CoV-2".

With Professor Astrid Vabret, director of the virology department of the CHU de Caen and specialist in coronaviruses, Code Source observes the virus under a microscope to see what is hidden in the infinitely small.
