(ANSA) - PESARO, APRIL 5 - The Urbino hospital has increased the number of beds in the semi-intensive care unit, thanks to the donation of several entrepreneurs and citizens, who have accepted the invitation of the provincial Confindustria. It consists of 13 beds and a portable instrument for lung radiographs, indispensable to avoid moving patients. "Everyone is aware of the situation that our companies are also experiencing in this period: they are forced to close to comply with the rules of distance and safety - explains the president of the Pesaro industrialists, Mauro Papalini -, but as is the tradition of this territory, the desire of entrepreneurs to help others, not to turn their gaze elsewhere, not to miss their contribution ". Dozens of companies, including non-associates, donated to the current account opened by Confindustria (Iban: IT40K0311113301000000010134 at UBI BANCA SPA). A fundraiser of Benelli Armi has also flowed there. Employees also contributed to the latter, "giving an extraordinary generosity and sensitivity".
The machines purchased, again through donations, will also be delivered to the hospitals of Marche Nord di Pesaro and Fano: they will be used to check the vital functions of the patients. "We want to continue to collect donations to continue to be useful and close to the health system of our province - concludes the President Papalini -: we are very close to also buying an ambulance for the Urbino hospital. The needs and urgencies, in fact, are not over and even the upcoming donations may be decisive in addressing the health emergency ". Confindustriaricorda that the voluntary payments collected through the association are tax deductible.
