90-year-old Yaffe Nagar is the seventh tenant of the Maanan nursing home who passed away from Corona • Last week transferred to a geriatric institution in Jaffa • Left behind 4 children and 12 grandchildren

Yaffa Nagar, 90, is the seventh tenant of the Maanan nursing home that died from the disease. A blue-haired carpenter in Corona was transferred from Be'er Sheva to Jaffa last week, and today (Monday) afternoon her family members announced that she had passed away.

Yaffe left behind 4 children and 12 grandchildren. Her granddaughter, Ripple, said: "She was an amazing mother and a great grandmother. Three years ago we put her in full weight and she became nursing. We constantly wrapped her in love. She died in Jaffa.

"We made a video call with her on Saturday. They let us hear and see her. An hour ago we talked to her and her condition deteriorated quickly. The doctor announced that these were her last breaths. We're in the market and in shock and not digestive. We knew it would happen, but we didn't think it would be that way.

Her blood pressure was low and those were her last breaths and we were not giving birth. We can't be with my mom and tell her what a great grandmother she was. She is always with us on Saturdays and holidays and because of the Corona we did not see her Purim.

"We told her we love you. She didn't understand that much. She understood that she had moved her but nothing more. I don't think she understood that there was a corona. Talk to her and explain to her but I don't know if she really understood." Yaffe was a housewife and cared for her children and granddaughters.

Adva said about what she was doing in Mashan: "What happened in Mashan does not matter anymore. The hysteria and the mess and the investigative committee will still be. There is a terrible default here, but my grandmother has already gone. It will not help her."

Her funeral is expected tomorrow at the new cemetery in Beersheba, where she will be buried next to her husband.
