(ANSA) - PERUGIA, APRIL 6 - The Barton Group has donated to all intensive care units in the region a supply of tablets that the extraordinary commissioner of the Perugia hospital will be distributing in the various wards in Umbria to allow patients to speak and interact with your loved ones more directly.
"It is a moment of difficulty for everyone, including us - explains the Barton Group -, both from a health and an entrepreneurial point of view. However, we felt obliged to be an active part in dealing with this humanitarian emergency, by making technology available at the service of healthcare and the socialization of those who are now in a situation of complete isolation for the coronavirus. We are also happy that Commissioner Onnis, whom we thank, taking charge of our donation, has highlighted to us 'the important opportunity' at this moment ".
"Some of these tablets - commented Onnis - will also be delivered to the other hospitals in the area and to SantaMaria in Terni, which have our same needs, precisely to reinforce the concept of humanization that we have always hoped for in these care programs, where unfortunately the patient cannot having any type of contact with their families except through technology. A donation, therefore, of great use also for our professionals involved in this process ". (HANDLE).
