Thomas Mueller's adventure at Bayern Munich continues: the attacker born in '89 has in fact signed the contract renewal with the German club until 2023.
Mueller joined the Bayern family at the age of 10 and, after drawing in the youth team, he won everything that could be won in the first team: 8 Bundesliga, 5 German Cups, 5 Super Cups, the Champions League , the Super Cup and the Club World Cup in 2013. To this must be added the World Cup won with Germany in 2014 in Brazil.
"I am sure - Mueller commented - that when we resume playing, we will continue to achieve many successes. This stimulates me. For me it was the number one priority to extend the contract and the club saw it in the same way. I am at Bayern by two thirds of my life: for me this company is not just an employer, it is my passion ".
The Bavarian team, among other things, was yesterday the first great team in Europe to return to training. Shortly after 10, as announced by the club, the players found themselves at the sports center, arriving one by one, after some time and first remaining isolated in the garage of the facility. Then, they went to the field in small groups, made up of no more than 5 people, keeping a distance of one and a half meters. The protocol established by Bayern also provides separate changing rooms, with a maximum of 2 people per room; prohibited handshakes and hugs. Then, on the field, physical work at a safe distance, ball between the feet, but no contrast.
Last Friday, finally, the contract of coach Hansi Flick, provisionally hired in November after the dismissal of Niko Kovac (of which he was the deputy), was also extended until 2023.
