China reported 32 cases of coronavirus infection on Monday , all imported, and no deaths for the first time . This is what emerges from the daily updates of the National Health Commission (NHC).
Zero deaths emerged for the first time since January 23, the day on which the pandemic was counted on a daily basis and the announcement of the closure of the province of Hubei and its capital Wuhan, the epicenter of the infection, in efforts to contain Covid-19. If the new cases of internal contagion are eliminated, the imported ones have risen, with the 32 on Monday, to an altitude of 983. Then 89 have been discharged from hospitals, while the serious cases have dropped by 54 units, to 211. The overall infections are increased to 81,740, of which 1,242 patients still in treatment, 3,331 deaths and 77,167 discharged from hospitals, equal to a cure rate of 94.4%. The Commission explained that 89 people are still suspected of being infected, while 14,499 remain under close observation. The new asymptomatic cases updated on Monday amounted to 30, including 9 imported: at present, 1,033 people are under medical observation, 275 of which are attributable to imported cases.

South Korea marked 47 new cases of coronavirus infections on Monday , confirming the same number on Sunday and keeping below 50 for the second day in a row: the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned of outbreaks in churches and hospitals, and on return infections. The total infections are 10,331, the deaths 192 (+6) and the hospital discharge 6,694 for a cure rate of 64.79%. There are 14 cases imported (802 total). Seoul has tested Covid-19 on nearly 480,000 people.
