(ANSA) - ANCONA, APR 07 - Enel Cuore, the non-profit organization of the Enel Group, is at the side of the Marche Region to deal with the health emergency caused by the spread of the virus Covid-19: it has already allocated the donation of 800 thousand euros to the Region led by President Luca Ceriscioli intended for civil protection and for the support of hospital hospitals in the region. Thanks to this offer, individual protection devices and all the necessary equipment for some regional hospital structures will be purchased, including the OspedaliRiuniti Marche Nord hospital in Pesaro, the University Hospital "Ospedali Riuniti Ancona Umberto IG.M. Lancisi-G. Salesi diAncona and the new Covid hospital which will be built in the Marche region.
"In these days of great difficulties - says Ceriscioli - the many gestures of solidarity that we continue to receive from each part are an injection of hope and trust. The individual protection devices and medical equipment are essential safeguards for the operators of civil protection and health who fight with the generosity and sense of duty every day to fight the virus at the forefront. We therefore thank the Onlus of the Enel Group for the concrete closeness expressed also on this occasion to the Marche community, with the donation of 800 thousand euros. I am convinced that thanks to the teamwork and in support of many people our region will also overcome this dramatic moment ".
The donation to the Marche Region is one of the measures approved in recent days by Enel Cuore to deal with the epidemiological emergency in support of the main entities engaged in health and social care in our country.
The Onlus of the Enel Group has already allocated over 23 million euros for both identified projects and others in the identification phase which will be defined in a short time thanks to the dialogue and continuous coordination with Civil Protection and national and regional authorities in the front line against the spread of the virus.
