(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 07 - The Intergroup for Sustainable Development supports the fundraising initiative "Insieme perfermare il Covid", promoted by Anci, Asi (Automotoclub storicoitaliano) and Unicef Italia. A commitment "absolutely in line with the 17 goals of the United Nations' sustainability and which see one of the objectives to be achieved in global health as soon as possible", says MP Chiara Braga, coordinator of the Sustainable Development Intergroup. In this, for Braga, "the directorate of Wellness Italy can also play a role of considerable interest and coordination in the future". "The adhesion of the intergroup on sustainable development to the countryside represents a further sign of the closeness of the institutions to the country in this difficult moment", declares the President of the Italian Wellness Booth, FilomenaMaggino. The work table within the control room - in conjunction with the civil protection - has earmarked 500 million euros of the funds raised for the purchase of essential medical supplies such as tampons, respirators and masks. Other funds will soon be destined to both local emergency interventions and centralized activities. (ANSA).
